5 Ways to make the most of National Women's Health & Fitness Day

To all women, today is one of the days we get to enjoy ourselves, pamper up and either continue on leading a healthy lifestyle or starting a healthier lifestyle journey. Whatever your situation is, here is how to make the best of today’s (or every last Wednesday of September) celebration:

1. Grab your girls and head over for a nice massage/facial

A nice massage can give you that boost you so long for. It relaxes your body, mind and soul. You can find some great ideas for DIY Facials here .

2. Rock your body out with some fun exercises

Ditch your regular routine today and try something completely new (Zumba, Pilates, Boxing, Weight Lifting, etc..) anything you don’t do on a regular basis but that will work your body and leave you feeling just right.

3. Schedule/Go for a checkup

Schedule your checkup if you have not recently done so. You always want to know everything that is going on with your health so you can take precautionary measures accordingly.

4. Healthier Diet

Yes, change your diet today for a healthier and more youthful you. Always make your healthy choices and remember your vitamins.

5. Take time for yourself (you-time)

Take some time out for yourself, whether it is to catch on some sleep, to meditate, to unwind, anything that YOU need. We rarely ever have any time for just ourselves, especially those of us with family and kids.

Happy National Women’s Health and Fitness Day! Check your local organizations, hospitals, churches and communities for different fun events for today.
